RESTAURANTS/RETAIL : Veteran of Denny’s Elected a Director on Franchise Board

Dennis P. Malone, a former Denny’s restaurant executive who now lives in Anaheim Hills, has been elected to Denny’s Franchise Advisory Board of Directors. Malone, who worked at Denny’s since 1972, has been a Denny’s franchisee since 1991. He now owns a Denny’s franchise in North Palm Springs.
The advisory board represents Denny’s 253 franchisees and includes six franchisees and two company representatives. The board meets three times annually to discuss franchise growth strategies, marketing, promotion, new products, service developments and operational issues.
