ROLLING HILLS ESTATES : Hearing on Proposed Day-Care Center
A public hearing on a proposal to set up a day-care center on Wildhorse Lane in Rolling Hills Estates will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The proposal, by Sheryl Yim, was approved by the city Planning Commission, but Councilwoman Jacki McGuire appealed the decision to the City Council after residents complained that a child-care center should not be in a residential neighborhood.
The hearing is in council chambers at Palos Verdes Drive North and Crenshaw Boulevard.
