LANCASTER — A 21-year-old Palmdale man died Sunday after being shot in a confrontation with another man, authorities said.
Mickey Elliott died about 4 p.m. at Antelope Valley Hospital Medical Center in Lancaster from a gunshot wound to the head inflicted during a confrontation with another man Friday in the 38100 block of 11th Street East in Palmdale, said Deputy Donna Levi of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Antelope Valley station.
Matthew Nall, 39, also of Palmdale, was booked on suspicion of attempted murder Friday at the Antelope Valley Sheriff’s Station in connection with the shooting, Levi said.
In most cases, an attempted murder charge is changed to a murder charge when the victim dies.
