Bruins Fall Into a Tie for No. 2

As expected, UCLA fell from the top after its loss to Cal on Sunday.
Duke became the sixth No. 1 team of the season, taking the top ranking in the USA Today/CNN coaches poll. The Blue Devils (15-1) have won five games in a row. They received 20 of 34 first-place votes and 798 points.
UCLA and North Carolina tied for second at 785 points. The Bruins received seven first-place votes to four for the Tar Heels.
The Associated Press poll will be released today.
