Williams Sparks UCLA Women
Natalie Williams scored 26 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead the UCLA women’s basketball team past California, 79-56, Sunday afternoon in a Pacific 10 game at Pauley Pavilion.
All 10 UCLA players played at least 15 minutes and scored as the Bruins improved to 10-7 overall and 5-3 in the Pac-10. Cal fell to 7-10, 1-6.
The Golden Bears led 4-2 before the Bruins went on a 36-12 run to take a commanding 38-16 lead with 4:33 left in the first half. UCLA led 44-23 at halftime and extended the lead to 30, 57-27, with just under 15 minutes left in the game.
