POMONA : Man Linked to Photos of Molested Child Gets 20 Years
- Share via
A man linked to photographs of a 4-year-old molestation victim was sentenced Thursday to 20 years in prison for lewd conduct. As part of a plea bargain, however, authorities dropped child pornography charges against Paul Lynn Loe, 46, of Rowland Heights.
Loe pleaded no contest earlier this month to eight charges of lewd acts on a child in connection with the molestation of a girl. Three additional counts against Loe of lewd conduct and five counts of child pornography were dismissed.
Low, the father of three, had faced a maximum sentence of 29 years if convicted on all counts. He was arrested in late December after pictures of a young girl being molested were found in a trash bin behind a Whittier hotel.
When a cropped version of one photo showing the victim’s face appeared on television, the girl was identified, leading police to Loe.
He and his girlfriend shared a Rowland Heights apartment unit with the girl and her mother, and he occasionally baby-sat the child.
