Pollution Research to Buy Product Line

Pollution Research and Control Corp., a Glendale maker of pollution monitoring devices, said it has tentatively agreed to acquire the technology and inventory of the Byron hydrocarbon analyzer product line from General Monitors Inc. for an undisclosed amount of cash.
The analyzer products measure hydrocarbons emitted by cars and other sources in ambient air.
