Fullerton, So.
Basketball / Guard
Clark took the long way to Fullerton. After a standout career at Brea-Olinda High, Clark played at Golden West last season. But when things didn’t work out as expected she left the Rustlers at midseason. Clark has been Fullerton’s most steady player this season, averaging a team-best 10 points. Clark had 17 points in the Hornets’ 64-54 loss to Orange Coast last Wednesday, then scored 17 more as Fullerton upset host Riverside, 49-46, Friday. She also leads Fullerton with 66 assists and 62 steals.
Other notables:
* Julie Murdent scored 24 points on 11 of 17 shooting as Golden West beat Orange Coast, 79-71, in overtime Friday.
