Raiders Granted Ticket Extension

With only about 54,000 tickets sold for Sunday’s wild-card playoff game against the Denver Broncos, the Raiders were granted a two-day extension by the NFL to sell out the 67,800-seat Coliseum so that the local television blackout could be lifted.
The league gave the Raiders until 1 p.m. Saturday to reach stadium capacity because of last weekend’s New Year’s holiday. The Raiders were also granted extra time last week to lift the blackout before their 33-30 victory over the Broncos.
