SAN FRANCISCO--The San Francisco Sports and Boat Show brings about 600 exhibitors to the Cow Palace, Jan. 14-23. Noon-10 p.m. weekdays, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturdays, and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sundays. SAN DIEGO--Marvel at the migration of California gray whales during Cabrillo National Monument’s Whale Watch Weekend, Jan. 22-23. Exhibits, lectures and a children’s program are planned. HEALDSBURG--Taste your way through the Alexander, Dry Creek and Russian River valleys in Sonoma County at the second annual Winter Wineland, Feb. 4-6. More than 25 bed and breakfast inns host special wine tastings and dinners Friday night. On Saturday-Sunday, more than 45 wineries host special activities, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Tickets for self-guided wine tours: $15.
