Fingerprinting of Children Offered
Parents will have a chance to obtain a record of their child’s fingerprints Saturday when Ventura County sheriff’s deputies sponsor “Operation Kid Print.â€
The event is free and will be held at Mountain Meadows School, 4200 Mountain Meadows Drive, in Moorpark from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sheriff’s deputies will fingerprint children--a critical record if a child is abducted or lost--and engrave driver’s license numbers on bicycles to prevent theft.
