1 Killed, 1 Injured in La Palma Crash

LA PALMA — A teen-ager driving a Ford Bronco crashed into a car, killing a woman and injuring her husband, police said Saturday.
The woman, whose name was withheld pending notification of other relatives, died of head and chest injuries about an hour after the collision at 9:35 p.m. Friday at Orangethorpe Avenue and Walker Street, according to police.
She died at Humana Hospital-West Anaheim. Her husband, whose name was not released, was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The 16-year-old driver was traveling west on Orangethorpe Avenue when his Bronco struck a Nissan Sentra at Walker Street. The youth was not cited, but authorities were investigating the incident.
