Computer Agreement Announced: Under an agreement announced Friday, IBM will manufacture and ship a new computer designed by a subsidiary of Helionetics Inc., an Irvine company that develops high-tech products. The announcement, however, did not do much for Helionetics’ stock, which has taken a wild ride this year, hitting a low of $1.75 a share and a high Thursday of $7. In American Stock Exchange trading Friday, Helionetics stock fell 25 cents to close at $6.75 a share. There are no analysts who closely follow Helionetics’ stock, company spokesman Paul Keil said. Developed by Helionetics’ wholly owned subsidiary Sentinel Systems Inc. of Horsham, Pa., the new $50,000 computer, designed to never fail or lose data, is to be manufactured at IBM’s Charlotte, N.C., facility.
