HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP : Agoura Lifted by Goal Barrage in 3rd Quarter

Consecutive goals scored by four players to open the third quarter sparked Agoura High to a 16-13 first-round Southern Section Division II water polo victory over Righetti on Wednesday at Agoura.
The Chargers (10-7) trailed, 8-6, before Harvey Wilford, Paul Lovejoy, Chris Driscoll and Kevin Bartine scored for a 10-8 lead.
Driscoll, a junior, scored six goals in the match. Wilford added four and Richardson had three for Agoura, which will meet second-seeded Sunny Hills on Friday.
In other first-round water polo matches:
Santa Maria 18, Newbury Park 5--The Panthers lost the Division II match at Santa Maria.
Crescenta Valley 12, Edison 7-- Ryan Bittle scored four goals and Jon Conrad, Eddie Kim and Romas Kudirka each scored two to lead the Falcons to a Division II victory at home.
John Marlett had 14 saves for Crescenta Valley (20-4), which is ranked eighth in the Southern Section. The Falcons will meet Santa Maria on Friday.
Esperanza 15, Glendale 3--Fourth-ranked Esperanza eliminated the Dynamiters in the Division II match at Esperanza.
Riverside North 20, Hoover 16--The host Tornadoes were outscored in the Division II match.
