Golden West, So.
Football / Running back
For much of Saturday night, Senteno looked like he was on the way to his worst night as a college running back. He was held to 28 yards through three quarters and the Rustlers trailed Rancho Santiago, 14-3. But Senteno broke loose for 127 yards and three touchdowns in the fourth quarter of a 24-14 victory. He scored on runs of one, 29, and 80 yards. The 80-yarder, his longest of the season, came with 3 minutes 45 seconds left and it gave Golden West a 24-14 lead. Senteno finished with 155 yards rushing and 265 yards in total offense.
Other notables:
* Ryan Mulholland scored 12 goals as Orange Coast finished second in Orange Empire Conference water polo tournament.
* Scott von der Ahe, a sophomore linebacker, had 13 tackles in Saddleback’s 20-12 victory over Fullerton.
