LA PALMA : Hospital to Offer 6-Hour CPR Course

La Palma Intercommunity Hospital will offer a course in cardiopulmonary resuscitation Nov. 20.
The six-hour course, co-sponsored by the American Heart Assn., is taught by certified personnel. It will include adult and infant rescue as well as instructions on clearing an obstructed airway. After a written test at the conclusion of the session, participants will receive a certificate of completion.
Fee for the course is $25, and it is being held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the hospital, 7901 Walker St. Preregistration is required by Friday.
