First American Stock to Trade on Big Board

SANTA ANA — First American Financial Corp. said Monday that it has applied to begin trading its common shares on the New York Stock Exchange after 29 years on the Nasdaq market. Trading on the Big Board, under the symbol FAF, is expected to begin within the next 30 days.
First American, based in Santa Ana, is a national title insurance company that also provides tax, home warranty and credit- and mortgage-reporting services.
