Carter Hawley Executive Leaving: The retailer said its vice chairman and chief operating officer, Ed Holman, is leaving the company. Holman, a former senior vice president and executive vice president of operations, was promoted this year as the company emerged from bankruptcy protection. His departure was attributed only to a management reorganization; no new vice chairman was named. Los Angeles-based Carter Hawley Hale Inc. is the parent of the Broadway department stores.
