Montclair Prep 63, San Diego Mar Vista 9--Wilbert Smith rushed for 310 yards in 19 carries and scored a school-record seven touchdowns at Valley College. Smith broke Eliel Swinton’s record of six touchdowns set two years ago.

Smith scored on runs of 50, seven, six, 44 and 23 yards, on a 60-yard interception return and a 35-yard punt return for the Mounties (6-0).
