ANAHEIM — Coroner’s officials on Thursday asked for help in identifying a man found dead on a bike trail in August.
The body of the man, who had been shot, was found about 10:40 p.m. Aug. 28 on the trail north of the 3800 block of Riverdale Avenue, officials said.
The man is described as white, possibly Egyptian or Middle Eastern, deputy coroner Steve Eicherly said. The victim has brown hair and brown eyes, is 5 feet 8 and weighs 146 pounds, Eicherly said. He was wearing a white pullover, short-sleeved shirt and beige pants with a brown belt, white socks and white tennis shoes.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Eicherly at (714) 647-7410 or Anaheim Police Detective Hector Hildago at (714) 254-1900.
