Pritzker Said Ready to Invest in America West: A group of investors headed by Chicago’s wealthy Pritzker family will submit a reorganization plan for the airline before the end of the year, said a person familiar with the group’s plans. America West asked the court Sept. 29 to approve its agreement with AWA Partners, composed of Hyatt Air Subco Inc., which is controlled by the family of hotelier Jay Pritzker, and WSW Fund, a private investment partnership co-managed by Wertheim Schroeder & Co. Inc. of New York and Alpine Capital Group, an investment advisory firm.
