IBM, Digital Launch Vietnam Operations: International Business Machines Corp. named three Vietnamese companies to sell and service its products once the U.S. government lifts an economic embargo against the country. Digital Equipment Corp. has named two domestic companies as partners. Until sanctions are lifted, the local companies will help sell IBM and Digital products to the limited range of customers permitted under the embargo, including U.S. companies with licensed offices in Vietnam, certain non-governmental organizations and foreign governments.
