Bladow had failed to score a touchdown in his first 11 college games, but he capped his most impressive offensive game with his first touchdown Saturday as Rancho Santiago beat El Camino, 37-36. Bladow, from Villa Park High School, caught a two-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Gabe Garcia as time ran out. Bladow also rushed for a career-high 161 yards in 24 carries, including consecutive runs of 22 yards. He rushed for 215 yards in 38 carries in 10 games last season, but has 244 yards in 40 carries already this season.
Other notables:
* Rafael Mosqueda scored four goals as the Orange Coast men’s soccer team won three games.
* Ernest Wilson rushed for 143 yards, including a 56-yard touchdown run, as Rancho Santiago beat El Camino, 37-36.
