Reporting Innuendo
I read with interest the comments made by reporter Peggy Lee in regard to her article of Sept. 13 on Jim Monahan.
Rather than spending any time talking about the years of service of Monahan and both the achievements and deficits in regard to his service, the article was more slanted toward innuendo in dealing and bad conduct.
But for the grace of God many people go down the road in regard to having a few drinks and driving after a Christmas party or an office party.
To throw a stone in regard to an offense in 1990 seems to be unreasonable and calculated only for the purpose of embarrassment or impassioning bad feelings.
