Music: Call it the George Jones Industrial Average. The Nashville-based Country Music Assn. has unveiled its “CMA index†for those wanting to track the gross domestic product contributed by the likes of Garth Brooks, Mary-Chapin Carpenter and Wynonna Judd. The CMA’s figures show a 76% growth rate from 1990 to 1992. The index is compiled using such data as record sales, radio ad revenue and concert sales.
