SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA : Weekend Metrolink Trains to Run on Fair Route

Metrolink will run special weekend trains to the Los Angeles County Fair and to downtown Mexican Independence Day festivities, officials announced Friday.
Trains will run on the San Bernardino line starting today and continuing on weekends until Oct. 3. Three round-trip trains will run between Rialto and Los Angeles, stopping at a new temporary station at the fair in Pomona. Round-trip tickets will cost $4, but Metrolink pass holders and children under 6 will ride free. Metrolink will also give weekend passengers $2 discount coupons for admission to the fair.
