COLLEGE FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : USC : Oliver to Face the Other Sacca
USC’s senior free safety, Jason Oliver, hopes he can handle Penn State quarterback John Sacca on Saturday as well as he did Sacca’s brother, Tony, in USC’s 21-10 victory over Penn State in the Coliseum in 1991. Oliver intercepted Sacca three times in that game.

Penn State receiver Bobby Engram had an even better touchdown game than USC’s Johnnie Morton last Saturday. Morton caught three scoring passes against Houston, but Engram caught four in the 38-20 victory over Minnesota.
Engram caught eight passes for 165 yards, second-best in Penn State history. Morton caught a school-record 15 passes for 186 yards. . . . Dept. of Smarts: Backup punter Martin Boskovich of Sierra Madre has USC’s highest grade-point average for last spring--a 4.0 average.
