N.J. Copter Crash Kills 1

SANDY HOOK, N.J. — A Coast Guard helicopter trying to land at an offshore light tower crashed into the ocean Tuesday, killing one person and seriously injuring two others, authorities said. The HH-65 Dolphin helicopter was carrying maintenance workers to the Ambrose Light, a navigation beacon in the shipping channel leading to New York Harbor.
