Cypress : Panel Seeks Input on City’s Services

The Citizens Fiscal Advisory Committee is seeking public input about the city’s services.

Committee members are asking residents to attend a meeting Sept. 20 to discuss what services Cypress should eliminate and what should be provided. How the services should be funded and how the city might operate more efficiently are among the topics that will be addressed.

The meeting will be held at City Hall from 7 to 10 p.m. Speakers will be limited to two minutes each and are asked to provide copies of their presentations for each of the five committee members.

The committee was created by the City Council in June to provide council members with recommendations regarding the city’s financial stability through the year 2000.
