GARDEN GROVE : District to Offer Free Immunizations
Free immunizations are available for students in the Garden Grove Unified School District starting Monday at Dr. A.J. Cook Elementary School.
All students are required to have proof of immunizations against polio, red measles, diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, German measles and mumps before school begins Sept. 9. When registering their children, parents must present proof of the immunizations, which are available from private doctors, at regional clinics of the Orange County Health Care Agency or at the district’s clinic.
No appointment is necessary for students to get the shots at Cook Elementary, 9802 Woodbury Road. The clinic is open weekdays, 8 a.m. to noon and 12:30 to 2 p.m. For more information, call (714) 663-6503.
