IRVINE : Jewish Community Center Plans Picnic
The Jewish Community Center of Orange County will hold a summer picnic Sunday at William R. Mason Regional Park.
Families, as well as teen-agers and singles, are invited to the event, which will include volleyball and softball games, bingo, relay races, a bake-off contest and a water-balloon toss.
Participants are asked to bring their own main course, snacks and dessert. Charcoal, grills, lemonade and watermelon will be provided. The picnic will run from noon to 4 p.m.
Admission to the event is free for Jewish Community Center members. For non-members, it is $5 per family or $2 per person. The park, at University and Culver drives, charges a $2 parking fee.
