WATERVILLE, Me. — A man who walked in on an intruder held him in a headlock until police arrived.
Luke Gagne said he punched the intruder and knocked him down after catching him in his parents’ house this week, then pinned him to the floor and called 911. The first police car sent to the house collided with a pickup truck, so another cruiser had to be dispatched.
Michael A. Shaw, 31, pleaded innocent at his arraignment Friday on a burglary charge.
