A field of seven headed by defending champion Thirty Slews was entered Friday in Sunday’s $100,000-added Bing Crosby Handicap at Del Mar.

Thirty Slews will be ridden by Eddie Delahoussaye and was assigned high weight of 121 pounds for the 48th running of the six-furlong race for 3-year-olds and up.

Under 116 pounds including Delahoussaye, Thirty Slews won the race last year in 1:08 1-5. Thirty Slews finished second behind Bruho in the race two years ago.

Others entered were Star Of The Crop, who will be ridden by Gary Stevens and was assigned 119 pounds; Slerp, Kent Desormeaux, 118 pounds; Superstrike, Martin Pedroza, 116 pounds; The Wicked North, Corey Black, 116 pounds; Black Jack Road, Russell Baze, 115 pounds, and Anjiz, Corey Nakatani, 113 pounds.

Slerp and Anjiz finished second and third, respectively, in the race last year.

A field of 10 was entered in the $75,000-added San Clemente Handicap, a one-mile race on Del Mar’s turf course for 3-year-old fillies to be run earlier Sunday.

Beal Street Blues, who will be ridden by Black, was assigned high weight of 117 pounds.

Others entered were Miami Sands, who will be ridden by Stevens and was assigned 116 pounds; Vinista, Patrick Valenzuela, 116 pounds; Shir Dar, Desormeaux, 116 pounds; Passing Vice, Nakatani, 116 pounds; Incindress, Danny Sorenson, 115 pounds; Madame L’Enjoleur, Laffit Pincay, 115 pounds; Zoonaqua, Sal Gonzalez, 115 pounds; Hollywood Wildcat, Delahoussaye, 115 pounds, and Mighty Ice, Alex Solis, 114 pounds.

Golden Klair was listed as an also eligible with Valenzuela as her jockey and a weight assignment of 113 pounds.

A field of six headed by Sir Beaufort is entered in today’s $125,000-added San Diego Handicap.

Sir Beaufort will be ridden by Valenzuela and is assigned high weight of 119 pounds for the 52nd running of the 1 1/8-mile race for 3-year-olds and up.

Others entered are Latin American, who will be ridden by Stevens and is assigned 117 pounds; Missionary Ridge, Desormeaux, 116 pounds; Memo, Paul Atkinson, 116 pounds; L’Express, Delahoussaye, 114 pounds, and Fanatic Boy, Chris McCarron, 114 pounds.
