COUNTYWIDE FOCUS : Wright to Discuss State Budget Impact

State Sen. Cathie Wright (R-Simi Valley) will address the Ventura and Simi Valley city councils during separate council meetings tonight to discuss the impacts of the new state budget on Ventura County cities.
Wright is scheduled to appear before the Ventura City Council at 7:30 p.m. and the Simi Valley City Council at 9.
She will update the panels on the latest budget action as well as recent measures to reform the workers’ compensation insurance system and pending legislation that would consolidate solid waste management in the county. Council members will be able to question Wright.
