Anaheim Plaza Donates Equipment: Anaheim Plaza, which is being demolished to make way for a new and improved shopping center, has been donating used equipment and construction materials to its neighbors. Nine air-conditioning units are on their way to Anaheim First Presbyterian Church, where they will cool an on-site day-care center, an office building and the church sanctuary.
The new Anaheim Plaza will house 550,000 square feet of retail space, an entertainment area and restaurants. Demolition of the old shopping center will begin in the fall.
