Ticket Machine Bypasses Clerks: American Express Co. announced in New York that it has developed an office-based airline ticket printer that is making a test run in the Manhattan offices of NYNEX Corp. The machine, made by Datamax Corp. of Orlando, Fla., will initially allow business travelers to make shuttle flight arrangements 24 hours a day without using a reservations clerk.
