The Dodgers, who split this four-game series, do not make their second (and last) San Diego trip until Sept. 13-14-15. . . . Darryl Strawberry and Eric Davis were both on the Dodger bench, Davis because of a wrist injury suffered Saturday night. Tony Gwynn was not in uniform for the Padres because of a strained calf muscle, also suffered Saturday night.
