IBM to Unveil its First “Green†PC: International Business Machines Corp. on Tuesday will unveil its first environmentally friendly personal computer, a “green†PC that uses much less power than a standard PC and saves on desk space as well. IBM also will introduce two new ThinkPad notebook computer models, including one sub-notebook that is a bit smaller and lighter than typical notebook computers. Big Blue’s green PC is among the first in a wave of environmentally correct PCs being developed according to new Environmental Protection Agency guidelines due out this week.
