NoHo Arts District Sets First Festival
The NoHo Arts District will host its first Performing Arts Festival Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the Academy Plaza, 5200 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood.
The festival includes live entertainment, a film festival, arts and crafts booths, student art exhibition, international foods, beverages and sidewalk performers. Admission is free.
A 30-by-30-foot mural, depicting the NoHo Arts District and designed by Paul Vent, will be painted on a wall at Lankershim and Magnolia by Vent and students of North Hollywood High School before the festival.
