Singles

Loara, Sr.

Won an amazing 229 of 231 sets in four years of dual matches. This year, Lindee captured his third Empire League singles title and advanced to round of 16 in Section individual tournament. He will play next season at UC Irvine.

Singles

Ocean View, Jr.

Unbeaten in 42 singles sets during the season, Pietrowski also beat Eddie Weiss in the Sunset League finals, 6-3, 6-2. He defeated Villa Park’s Jason DeVera and Santa Barbara’s Jimmy Walker in reaching the individual singles semifinals.

Singles

Fountain Valley, Sr.

At No. 1 singles, Weiss won 52 of 54 sets in dual matches. He lost in the quarterfinals at Ojai and the section individuals tournament to Santa Barbara’s Alex DeCret, who won both events. Weiss will play at UC Santa Barbara next year.

*DAVE ROBBINS (Sr.), JOSEPH GILBERT (Fr.)

Doubles: Sunny Hills

Robbins went 66-0 in singles and reached the singles semifinals at Ojai. Gilbert went 20-2 in singles. The two became a team for the individual tournament, where they lost in the finals to the top-seeded team from Santa Barbara.

*TRENTON RHODES (Sr.), BRIAN WALDEN (Sr.)

Doubles: Corona del Mar

Both players won 42 of 47 singles sets in dual matches, but in tournaments the duo played together. They lost in the doubles finals at Ojai and the quarterfinals at the section individuals. Walden will play at Cal next year and Rhodes at Texas A&M.;

*JED WEINSTEIN (Jr.), BEAT BAUDENBACHER (Sr.)

Doubles: Corona del Mar

The pair went undefeated in league and 52-2 overall with both losses coming against Division I champion Santa Barbara in the semifinals. They reached the semifinals at individuals before losing to the eventual champions from Santa Barbara.

Singles Won boys’ 16s at Ojai and reached round of 16 at individuals. Singles Went 57-3 in dual matches and reached round of 16 at individuals. Singles Went 58-5 in dual matches and advanced to third round of section individuals. Doubles Won Pacific Coast League doubles and advanced to round of 16 individuals. Doubles Went 54-6 in dual matches and reached third round of individuals. Doubles Went 42-3 in dual matches and reached third round of individuals.
