Wellpoint Health Networks Inc., the for-profit subsidiary of Blue Cross of California, said it has appointed Jeremy H. Silverman as executive vice president of corporate development, a new position.
Silverman, 41, will serve as the senior business-development executive for Wellpoint, involved in planning and resource development of the company’s business.
Silverman has more than 15 years of experience in finance and health-care businesses. Most recently, Silverman was a director and partner with the consulting firm of Bain & Co. in Boston.
