Bornstein Oversees Goldwyn’s Worldwide Marketing

Much Thanks: Richard Bornstein, who launched Samuel Goldwyn Co.’s “Much Ado About Nothing,” is the company’s new vice president of worldwide marketing.

Bornstein will oversee worldwide publicity, promotion and advertising for the independent company’s theatrical, international and television divisions. He succeeds Leonie de Picciotto, who the company said chose not to return following maternity leave.

Separately, Michelle Abbrecht was named vice president of publicity. She formerly was director of national publicity. Succeeding Abbrecht in that job is Michael Kochman, who joins Goldwyn from Paramount Pictures.

Television

Steven Bochco Productions named Barbara Kroells vice president of administration. She will oversee personnel, facilities and maintenance for the television producer.

John A. Wentworth has become senior vice president of media relations for Paramount Television Group. In the newly created position, Wentworth will oversee publicity for network, syndicated and cable series, as well as media relations and some advertising markets.

Troubled Home Shopping Network’s new chief executive, Gerald F. Hogan, named Benedict White Jr. president of celebrity marketing and products.

White most recently was head of the St. Petersburg, Fla.-based company’s celebrity division and president of its LifeWay Health Products. Under White, such celebrities as Vanna White and Suzanne Somers and Ivana Trump have appeared on the cable shopping network.
