Nate McMillan and Coach George Karl of the Seattle SuperSonics and Winston Garland and Scott Brooks of the Houston Rockets were fined by the NBA for their parts in incidents during a playoff game Tuesday night.
McMillan was fined $5,000 for elbowing Brooks, and Brooks was fined $2,000 for retaliating. Karl was fined $5,000 for getting involved in the incident on the court. Garland was fined $5,000 for flagrantly fouling Gary Payton.
