Trash

I have noticed that the frontages of many business establishments are often littered with trash. It would seem to me that businesses would do well to emulate homeowners who maintain public parkways and sidewalks fronting their property as a matter of pride and self-interest. This action would certainly lessen the need for many trash receptacle locations in the city, which was a city budget item brouhaha. Perhaps it should be made mandatory. There’s no secret that litter begets litter and cleanliness begets cleanliness.
