BASEBALL DAILY REPORT : AROUND THE MAJORS : Now Ryan Has a Strained Hip Muscle
Associated Press

John Conway said the strained muscle is attached to the brim of the pelvis in Ryan’s left leg. He injured it Friday night when he started against Kansas City, giving up eight runs on 11 hits in four innings in a 9-4 loss.
