Holy Cartoon, Batman!: Warner Bros. will release “Batman: The Animated Movie,†a film inspired by Fox’s cartoon series about the Caped Crusader, on Christmas Day. The film will be the first full-length feature from Warner Bros. Animation and will mark Warner’s first use of computer-generated animation. Some new characters will be introduced to the Batman story, including a villain named Phantasm. The movie will also explore Batman’s past and his first love affair. The film will feature the voices from the TV series--Kevin Conroy as Batman, Efrem Zimbalist Jr. as Alfred and Mark Hamill as the Joker.
