NEW YORK — Cardinal John J. O’Connor was released from a hospital after prostate surgery and he celebrated Mass on Friday at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, a church spokesman said. O’Connor, 73, was released from the hospital Thursday night after the surgery Wednesday.
