‘Bound’ to Open: Disney’s “Bound by Honor,†which had its Los Angeles opening postponed because of its close proximity to the announcement of verdicts in Rodney G. King civil rights trial, will open citywide in L.A. and Orange Counties on May 21. No disturbances were reported in the 30 cities (including San Diego) where it opened last weekend. The East Los Angeles-centered film brought in $1.3 million in weekend box-office receipts in 391 theaters.
