Times handicapper Fred Robledo selected eight winners Wednesday at Hollywood Park. The only race he missed was in the second when Gold Bally, his second pick, beat Bear’s Pizazz, his first choice.

His winners were Mystic Jeri ($4.40) in the first, Cassie June ($6.40) in the third, Gospal Spirit ($7.60) in the fourth, Melrose Park ($7.20) in the fifth, Sean Thomas ($13.80) in the sixth, Knight Prospector ($4.40) in the seventh, Gold Desert ($7.80) in the eighth and Friendly Helen ($4.40) in the ninth.

Times readers following Robledo’s selections collected $3,399.20 in the Pick Six and $579.90 in the win-place Pick Nine. In addition, Robledo hit the exactas in the second ($13.80), eighth ($29.20) and ninth ($15.20) races, the late double ($24), the middle triple ($324.90) and the late triple ($83.70).
