Regarding the article on the injunction against a gang in Panorama City (April 8):
When will Mark Silverstein and others of his ilk at the ACLU learn that action must be taken to return our communities to those who contribute to them, namely law-abiding citizens? Who is the ACLU trying to protect? Gang members? I hope Silverstein read Rodriguez’s column. Rodriguez describes his son’s death by gang members. Rodriguez, unfortunately, has learned firsthand that his “community has been invaded by a culture of death and terror; it is thriving.”
